Built between 1912 - 1915 on the Lackawanna Railroad is a awesome structure still called one of the wonders of the world. It was the largest concrete bridge in U.S.A when it opened and remained so for the next 50 years. In 1977, the bridge was listed on the National Register for Historic Places. Built by my late great great uncle, William Hull Botsford, who perished on the Titanic coming back from studying European bridge designs. His death occurred 50 years before on the very day my older brother was born, who bears a striking resemblance. (twilight zone theme song)
